Plans for a large housing development on the eastern side of Hereford are set to be submitted to Herefordshire Council.

The development is expected to be located next to the A438 Ledbury Road, near the Cock of Tupsley.

Residents in the area have started to receive leaflets through their letterboxes, detailing the development and inviting them to take part in a public consultation.

The plans are said to include new homes, work spaces and a farm shop.

The exact number of new homes proposed hasn’t been revealed, but Your Herefordshire understands that it is expected to be more than 100.

A public exhibition will be held between 3pm and 7pm at Hampton Park United Reformed Church, Hampton Dene Road on Tuesday 5th September.

The plans appear similar to a development that is planned for the Lower Bullingham area of the city, where more than 500 new homes are proposed.

More details soon.
