Prince Philip’s funeral will take place at Windsor Castle this afternoon, with a minute’s silence taking place across the United Kingdom at 3pm this afternoon.
At approximately 2.20pm, members of the Royal Family that aren’t part of the official procession will begin to turn up at St George’s Chapel.
At just prior to 2.40pm, Prince Philip’s coffin will be lifted onto a specially designed Land Rover by the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards. The coffin will then be joined by members of the procession before heading towards the Windsor Castle entrance.
At around 2.45pm, The Queen will depart the sovereign entrance in the state Bentley to join the profession and the national anthem will play.
Members of the Royal Family, including Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry will then follow the coffin on foot.
A Guard of Honour from The Rifles will play the national anthem as the coffin enters the castle. The service will then begin as members of the Royal Family take their seats at just prior to 3pm.
