Old School Lane in Hereford is cordoned off this morning, close to the railway bridge, following the death of a 17 year old boy overnight.
A police statement said: “West Mercia Police was called at 4.15am following reports of a male collapsing on Old School Lane.
“The 17 year old sadly died in hospital, his family have been informed.
“A scene guard remains in place on Old School Lane while officers investigate.
“His death is currently being treated as unexplained.”
