Herefordshire Council is considering charging people to dispose of soil, DIY waste, tyres and plasterboard at Household Recycling Centres in the county.

Herefordshire Council believes it can save £345,000 by implementing the charges.

The plans are part of a large document of savings that are proposed by Herefordshire Council over the next three years. Other savings include higher parking charges, energy charges and better demand management.

Currently, the majority of people can attend Household Recycling and Waste Centres for FREE by simply booking a slot on the Herefordshire Council website.
