Work is underway this morning to clear roads in the Madley area of Herefordshire, after a torrential thunderstorm yesterday evening led to large amounts of mud being deposited on the road from nearby fields.

EMERGENCY ROAD WORKS | C1193 – Kingstone Road and Brampton Road , Madley, thick layer of lying mud, following torrential rain yesterday, washed off the nearby fields, BBLP operatives are working to remove, delays likely all day, where possible, please avoid the area pic.twitter.com/Po7HtcxnF1
