A woman was taken to hospital after being found in a field in Herefordshire on Saturday evening.
West Mercia Police were called to the River Wye at Lower Bullingham in Hereford, alongside West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service after concerns were raised for the safety of a woman, who was believed to be in the river.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:
“At 9.30pm on Saturday night police received a report of concern for the safety of a woman believed to be in the River Wye near to Lower Bullingham in Herefordshire.
“A search of the area was carried out and the woman was subsequently found in a nearby field and was taken to hospital to be checked over.”
