A woman has sustained potentially serious injuries following a collision between a pedestrian and a motorist in Hereford.

The incident occurred on Union Street, at the junction with Goal Street in the city centre at just after 5pm on Sunday evening.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:

“West Midlands Ambulance Service were called at 5.07pm to the junction of Union Street and Gaol Street, Hereford to reports of a low speed RTC involving a car and a pedestrian.

“Crews treated one woman on scene, the pedestrian, who had sustained a potentially serious injury before she was conveyed to Hereford County Hospital.”

The road reopened to traffic later on Sunday evening.
