West Midlands Ambulance Service have provided an update on a significant emergency service response in Hereford on Friday.

Members of the public reported seeing a significant police and ambulance presence just off Eign Road in Hereford.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Servixe said:

“We were called shortly after 1pm to a medical incident on Outfall Works Road in Hereford.

“Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.

“Upon arrival we found a man who was assessed and conveyed to Hereford County Hospital for further assessment.”

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“Officers were called to Outfall Works Road in Hereford around 1:20pm this afternoon (14 March) to reports of someone suffering a medical episode.”
