West Midlands Ambulance Service have provided an update after the air ambulance landed in Hereford on Saturday. 

Local residents reported seeing the air ambulance lane in the Newton Farm area of the city on Saturday morning.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:

“We were called to a medical emergency at 8.06am on Saturday at a private address on Sherborne Close, Newton Farm in Hereford. 

“Three ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene. 

“Upon arrival we found a woman in a critical condition. 

“Crews immediately began administering advanced life support to her which continued en route to Hereford County Hospital.”
