West Midlands Ambulance Service have provided an update after an elderly man was seriously injured in a collision on Commercial Road in Hereford on Monday.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called at 4.39pm on Monday to a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Commercial Road in Hereford.
“One ambulance attended the scene. Upon arrival we found an elderly man who was the pedestrian.
“He was assessed and had sustained serious injuries. He received treatment at the scene and was conveyed to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.
“The driver of the car did not require assessment.”
