West Mercia Police have provided an update on an incident that occurred in the South Wye area of Hereford on Monday evening.
Local residents reported seeing a significant police presence in the Newton Farm area.
Ethelstan Crescent was temporarily blocked off by Police.
The Air Ambulance was also called to the incident.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:
“We received a call around 6.20pm yesterday evening (30 September) with a report of a collision on Ethelstan Crescent in Hereford.
“Officers arrived at the incident to find a motorbike and car involved.
“Two people on the motorbike sustained injuries not thought to be life threatening or life changing.”
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called at 6.11pm to a road traffic collision involving a car and a moped on Ethelstan Crescent in Newton Farm, Hereford.
“Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midland Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene.
“Upon arrival we found two male patients who were the driver of and a passenger on the moped.
“Both were assessed and had sustained potentially serious injuries. They received treatment at the scene before being conveyed to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.”
