West Midlands Ambulance Service have confirmed that a man has died after the air ambulance was called in Hereford.
The incident occurred at the Hereford Household Waste and Recycling Centre on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said:
“We were called at 3.04pm on Tuesday 16th May to reports of a medical emergency at an address on Chapel Road at the Rotherwas Industrial Estate in Hereford.
“An ambulance, a paramedic officer, a BASICS doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a man in a critical condition.
“Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, it became apparent that he could not be saved and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
