West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have all joined organisations across the country and beyond, in paying tribute to Her Majesty The Queen, following the sad news of her passing yesterday.

A short statement from West Mercia Police said:

On behalf of West Mercia Police, Chief Constable Pippa Mills has offered her sincere condolences.

“It is with great sadness that we learn of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. On behalf of West Mercia Police, I offer our deepest condolences to the Royal Family.

“Throughout her entire life, Her Majesty was known for her sense of duty and her devotion to a life of service; we are indebted to Her Majesty for her humanity, humility and the strength she showed throughout her life.

“I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to her life and service.”

West Midlands Ambulance Service shared the following message on social media:
