West Mercia Police are carrying out high visibility patrols across Hereford this evening.
There have been reports of burglaries in the Hinton area of Hereford over recent nights, and in other parts of the city.
Officers have been patrolling areas near the River Wye and in the Hinton area of the city.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“After the recent reports of burglaries in the area of Hinton, we have been out on high visibility foot patrol, cycle patrol and mobile patrol this evening.
“We are reminding everyone to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour.”
