West Mercia Police officers are investigating reports of a break in at a property in a village near Hereford.

The incident occurred in the Swainshill area of the county last Wednesday.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“Sometime over night on Wednesday 20th April, a property situated on the A438 in Swainshill was broken in to. 

“It looks like a crow bar was used to split the wood on the front door and access was gained. Fortunately due to the property being renovated, there was nothing of value that could have been stolen. 

“Did you see anything suspicious at the time or have you any information about this crime?
