West Mercia Police have clocked a motorist travelling at 79mph in a 60mph zone in a village.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“OPU officers clocked a driver at 79 mph in a 60 mph zone in Rushwick near Worcester.
“Looks like someone mistook the road for a racetrack! The driver has been issued a traffic offence report.
“Remember, speeding is one of four fatal behaviours that significantly contribute to serious or fatal car accidents.
“Let’s keep our roads safe and save the speed for the professionals!”
