From West Mercia Police:
We’re appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A449 south of Kidderminster yesterday afternoon.
Shortly after 4.50pm a black Land Rover Discovery and a lorry collided at the junction with Summerfield Lane, near to the Mare and Colt pub.
The passenger in the Land Rover, an 84-year-old woman, sadly died at the scene.
Another person was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.
We’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision or have dash-cam footage of it.
