Villagers in Shobdon have shared an appeal after cable ties were tied to several fences in the village. There is concern that these are being used to identify the property as a potential target for dog thefts.
Shobdon Village posted on Facebook saying:
IMPORTANT: Just in case….Please be aware around the village for cable ties being attached to garden fences outside properties. They are possibly being used as a sign to make people aware that there are dogs in the property so they can steal them. One was found outside a house yesterday in Shobdon. The local police are aware and have said this has been reported elsewhere. They have found no explanation for the ties yet. This may be nothing. Please SHARE and REPORT anything suspicious to the police to help keep pets safe.
