Mindless vandals appeared to have targeted Hereford’s City Link Road tress and planters overnight, with a number of them appearing damaged or destroyed this morning.
At least four of the trees are now facing sidewards and partially blocking the road.
Funding for the planters and trees came from central Government funding to improve Hereford city centre and the surrounding area.
The cost of the planters and trees was criticised by many on social media, but the cost to replace or repair these following this reckless act is likely to be significant.
