West Mercia Police have provided an update following a collision on the A49 near Ludlow on Tuesday.
A spokesperson said:
“Sadly we can now confirm that a 79-year-old woman and a 78-year-old man died at the scene of the collision. Their next of kin have now been informed.”
Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A49 near Ludlow, Shropshire on Tuesday morning.
At around 11.30am a car and lorry collided on the A49 near to the Sheet road roundabout, Ludlow.
