Two men have been taken to hospital following a collision near Hereford this morning.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:

“We were called at 10.07am to reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars near St Andrews Church in Bridge Sollers in Hereford. 

“Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a BASICS emergency doctor, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham and a passing by Welsh Ambulance Service crew attended the scene. Upon arrival we found three men. 

“The driver and passenger from the first car had sustained serious injures. They received treatment at the scene. The driver was conveyed to Hereford County Hospital via land ambulance. The passenger was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital via air ambulance. 

“The driver of the second car had sustained injuries not believed to be life threatening. He received treatment before being conveyed to Hereford County Hospital via land ambulance.”
