Following recent reports of men exposing themselves to women in Ross-on-Wye, in the last week, West Mercia Police detectives have arrested two men in their 30s on suspicion of exposure under the Section 66 Sexual Offences Act 2003.

Detective Inspector Cath Taylor said: “The arrests of these two men follows recent reports of two men exposing themselves to women and girls in the area of Ross-on-Wye.

“Understandably, these are distressing and concerning incidents the local community, particularly for those witnessing this behaviour.

“A significant amount of work has been conducted by local officers and detectives in order to identify those responsible.

“I would like to reassure the community that such incidents are fortunately rare however they will absolutely not be tolerated and every effort will be made to investigate reports made and find the perpetrator or perpetrators.

“I urge anyone with any concerns about an incident either recently or in the past to please get in touch. We investigate all reports we receive and anyone making a report is offered full and comprehensive support from specialist staff.”
