An investigation is underway following a serious collision near Ledbury, Herefordshire, in the early hours of this morning (Monday 7 November).

Around 1.55am a car collided with a building on the A438 between Ledbury and Trumpet.

A 19-year-old woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with life-threatening injuries.

Two men received hospital treatment for non life threatening injuries.

Two men, aged 18 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving in relation to the incident.

The A438 is closed in both directions from Trumpet crossroads to Ledbury and is likely to remain so until this afternoon.
