Two Hereford restaurants have been forced to close after staff were told to self-isolate after coming into contact with somebody that has tested positive for COVID-19.

Deja Vu and Nando’s in Hereford will both be closed for a number of days due to staff self-isolating, a problem that is affecting many businesses across the UK.

A post on the Deja Vu Facebook page said:

“Three members of our wonderful team have been told to isolate by the NHS track and trace app for the next 7 days due to coming in contact with someone who has/had the virus.

“Because of this, we are closing the restaurant for the next week and re opening Wednesday 28th of July.

“Apologies for any inconvenience caused and we will contact you in the next day if you have a booking with us this week.

“Thanks, stay safe and see you next week!”

A notice on the front door of Nando’s says that the restaurant will remain closed until the 27th July due to staff self-isolating.
