Public Health England has confirmed that a further two cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Herefordshire, taking the total number of positive cases of the virus to 992 since the outbreak started.
In the United Kingdom, 4,926 new cases were recorded, the highest daily figure since 7 May.
A further 37 people have died after testing positive for COVID-19 – the highest number reported in one day since 14 July, Tuesday’s government data shows.
On Monday, 4,368 Coronavirus cases were confirmed and 11 deaths reported.
Today’s data takes the overall number of confirmed UK cases to 403,551.
