Thousands of messages of support have poured in for the family and friends of 13-year-old Frank who sadly passed away following a battle with cancer.
A post on the TEAM Frank Facebook page confirmed the devastating news on Friday.
“We are devastated to let you know the beautiful Franko died peacefully early this morning, at home in bed with his Mama, and Dadster by his side.
“His past week has been horrendous and there is some relief in knowing it is finally over for him. Every moment of being his Mum, Dad and brother was a privilege.
“He was the most incredibly perfect, annoying, sarcastic, funny creature and the world will always be a little less shiny without him in it.”
Tributes from members of the public soon poured in, with Frank’s journey being followed by so many. During his battle, Frank received heart-warming messages from the likes of Kenny Dalglish, Alan Shearer and Duncan Ferguson.
