A person was hit by a train between Hereford and Shrewsbury yesterday morning, resulting in significant delays and cancellations affecting thousands of passengers.
An update from National Rail said:
“A person has been hit by a train between Shrewsbury and Hereford and as a result, all lines are closed. Trains between these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised.”
Services between Cardiff Central and Shrewsbury were cancelled, delayed or terminated at Hereford and restarted from Shrewsbury.
