Steam train lovers in Herefordshire will be treated this coming weekend when not one, but TWO steam trains travel through the county.
First up is ‘The Cheshireman’ (60163 Tornado) – It will depart Bristol Temple Meads at 07:11 and will travel through the following towns in and around Hereford at the following times. (Times in brackets)
Abergavenny (08.55am)
Pontrilas (09.09am)
Tram Inn (09.15am)
Hereford (Arr: 09.23am – Dep: 10.35am)
Leominster (10.53am)
The Cheshireman will also pass through Herefordshire during the evening, with it due to pass through Hereford at 8.04pm.
Second up is the ‘Welsh Marches Express’ (6233 Duchess of Sutherland) – It will depart Tyseley Steam Trust at 07:54 and will travel through the following towns in and around Hereford at the following times. (Times in brackets)
Leominster (10.45am)
Hereford (11.02am) – Set to remain at Hereford until 3pm.
Tram Inn (3.10pm)
Pontrilas (3.16pm)
Abergavenny (3.30pm)
