A town council has shared its disappointment after several hanging baskets were stolen over the weekend.
A statement shared on Bromyard and Winslow Town Council said:
“In the early hours of Saturday morning, many of the town’s hanging baskets were taken from around the town green by two individuals.
“This act is both disappointing and disheartening.
“The baskets were installed to help brighten up Bromyard for the enjoyment of everyone, and it’s upsetting that the thoughtless actions of a few have spoiled this for the wider community.
“We have good-quality CCTV footage of the individuals involved, as well as their vehicle registration. This information will be passed to the Police.
“If anyone has any information that might help us recover the baskets – which are large and clearly intended for commercial use – please do get in touch on 01885 482825. Your assistance would be very much appreciated.
“Let’s continue working together to keep Bromyard a pleasant and welcoming place for all.”
