Van owners in Hereford are being advised to remain vigilant after thousands of pounds worth of tools were stolen from a van in the city.

The theft happened on Monday night, on Harvey Road in the Hampton Dene area of the city. The thief took off with Makita and Dewalt kit.

Some of the items taken include a Makita cordless circular saw, jigsaw, multi tool, 2 x combi drills, 2 x impact drivers, orbital sander, pin gun, radio, 3 chargers, 8 or 9 5amp batteries. Also some hand tools and some Dewalt batteries, a charger and first fix gun.

Anyone with any information or anyone that is approached to purchase these items is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101.
