Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate has increased, whilst in the majority of the United Kingdom COVID-19 cases continue to fall.

COVID-19 INFECTION RATES IN HEREFORDSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (DATA UP UNTIL 21ST FEBRUARY):

Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate is currently 95.4 cases per 100,000 population. This is an increase on last week when the COVID-19 infection rate in the county was at 78.3 cases per 100,000 population.

Worcestershire’s COVID-19 infection rate has risen slightly. Data shows an infection rate of 142.3 cases per 100,000 population. This is a slight increase on last week when the COVID-19 infection rate in Worcestershire was at 139.6 cases per 100,000 population.

Shropshire’s COVID-19 infection rate has fallen. Data shows an infection rate of 121.3 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on the 143.3 cases per 100,000 population recorded just a week ago.

Gloucestershire’s COVID-19 infection rate has one of the lowest COVID-19 infection rates in England. Data shows an infection rate of 46.8 cases per 100,000 population. This is a decrease on the 72.8 cases per 100,000 population that was recorded a week ago.

Monmouthshire’s COVID-19 infection rate has fallen. Data shows an infection rate of 52.9 cases per 100,000 population. This is down on a week ago when the COVID-19 infection rate was at 62.4 cases per 100,000 population.

Powys COVID-19 infection rate is falling. Data shows an infection rate of 86.1 cases per 100,000 population. This is down on the 111.8 cases per 100,000 population that was recorded a week ago.
