Things are predicted to get ‘significantly warmer’ as we head into next week, with temperatures possibly reaching the mid twenties by the time we get to the following weekend.
The Met Office forecast for Herefordshire shows that the weather is set to warm up from Saturday, with highs of 21c possible, with some warm sunshine at times.
Several weather models are then predicting that temperatures could rise further as we head towards mid-month, with a plume of warm/hot air arriving from Spain. It should be noted that this is subject to change.
Some rain is likely on Friday, but with Herefordshire experiencing a much drier than average April, and a dry start to May, it’s unlikely to cause any problems.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Mostly dry over the weekend with warm sunny spells, although a few showers are possible on Saturday. Skies will turn a little cloudier on Monday but staying dry. Highs in Herefordshire of between 20-21c.
