A number of thefts of tools and other equipment have been reported by members of the public over recent days, with work vans targeted in areas of Hereford such as Hampton Dene and Hinton.
On Monday night, several thousand pounds worth of tools were stolen from a van on Harvey Road in the Hampton Dene area of the city. The thief took off with Makita and Dewalt kit.
Some of the items taken include a Makita cordless circular saw, jigsaw, multi tool, 2 x combi drills, 2 x impact drivers, orbital sander, pin gun, radio, 3 chargers, 8 or 9 5amp batteries. Also some hand tools and some Dewalt batteries, a charger and first fix gun.
Tools were then stolen from a van in the Hinton area of the city during the early hours of Thursday morning.
