Latest data from Public Health England shows that there is a wide variation in vaccination uptake depending on which area of the county you live in.

Latest data released shows that uptake of COVID-19 vaccines overall in Herefordshire is fairly high, but that some areas fall short in comparison to others.

The area with the highest COVID-19 vaccine uptake is the Wigmore, Orleton & Brimfield, with a total of 90% of people aged 12 and over having received a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and a total of 85.7% of people aged 12 and over having received two doses of a vaccine.

The area with the lowest uptake of COVID-19 vaccines in Herefordshire is the Hereford South West (Hunderton, Oval, Belmont Road and Newton Farm) area, where 75.8% of those aged 12 and over have received a first dose of a vaccine. However, just 68.9% of those aged 12 and over have received two doses of a vaccine. Other areas with that have seen a slightly lower uptake on vaccines are the Hereford South (Ross Road, Hinton, Putson etc) area, where 79.8% of people have received a first dose and 73.7% have received a second dose. Another area is Hereford Central (City Centre, Edgar Street, Commercial Road etc) where 76.3% of people have received a first dose and 70.3% have received both doses.
