The landlord at the Orange Tree is having to ask for permission to keep its tables and chairs outside the front of the pub.

Customers have taken advantage of the good weather this year to sit outside the King Street pub and enjoy the views of the Cathedral.

But Black Country Traditional Inns, the owners of the Orange Tree, have had to apply to Herefordshire Council to keep the seating.

The application requests permission to put 16 folding wooden chairs and 4 folding wooden tables with two parasol umbrellas on the pavement outside the front of the pub.
