The Barrels has announced today that it will host an Oktoberfest this year.
A post on The Barrels Facebook page said:
âThis year we have decided to do something a little different with the beer festival. It will now be held on Friday 30th September, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of October and will be called Oktoberfest.
âThere will be a selection of beers on sale in the Brewery bar and a great selection of bands on over the weekend. This is a ticketless event and we will be taking donations on the gate and around the yard at different times of the day with the monies going to local charities.
âThe food will have a German theme to it and all proceeds from the kitchen will also be going to charity. Thank you for your continued support.â
