Temperatures are set to rise this week across Herefordshire and other parts of England and Wales.
There is still the risk of a few showers here and there, but things will be far more settled than they have been over recent weeks and months.
The Met Office forecast for Herefordshire and the West Midlands from Thursday to Saturday says:
“High pressure dominates for the rest of the week, bringing settled conditions and lots of dry weather.
“Feeling very warm with light winds. Mild overnight with fog patches possible.”
However, there are some downsides to the settled weather. Pollen is likely to be high throughout the week. The Met Office Pollen update for the West Midlands says:
“Oak pollen in peak season. Some grass pollen from early season types. Spores: Pleospora.”
