NEWS | Local teacher Sue Cole travelled to Windsor Castle to receive her MBE for services to a school in Kenya

Earlier this year we featured the story of former Trinity School teacher Sue Cole who was honoured in the New Year’s Honours list with the awarding of an MBE.

Sue recently went to Windsor Castle and received the award from Princess Anne.

Sue contacted Your Herefordshire and provided us with some pictures of the day.

Sue told us:

“We went there on the 14th December to receive my medal. Princess Anne was very kind and attentive. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget.”
