A statue made by artist Marc Quinn was put up this morning in place of the toppled statue of Edward Colston which once stood in Bristol, prior to it being toppled by protesters during the Black Lives Matters protests in the city on 7th June, and depicts Black Lives Matter protestor Jen Reid – who can be seen in the photo attached.
Artist Marc Quinn created the statue of protester Jen Reid, who was photographed standing on the empty plinth after the Colston statue was toppled during the march that took place in June.
