It has been confirmed that a staff member at Bishop of Hereford’s Bluecoat School has tested positive for COVID-19.
In an email to parents the school said:
We have been made aware of a staff member of our school community who has tested positive for COVID-19.
We know that you may find this concerning but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England.
There are a very small number of staff who have been in close contact with the person and they have received a letter informing them that they must stay at home for 14 days. The member of staff has not been in any lessons or in close contact with any students and has worn a face visor in communal areas at all times.
