Speed Camera statistics released by West Mercia Police show that the number of KSI (Killed Seriously Injured) and PIC (Personal Injury Collisions) have significantly reduced since the installation of a permanent speed camera on the A465 (Belmont Road) in Hereford.
Prior to its installation, figures for 2014 show that one person was killed or seriously injured in a collision, with four collisions resulting in a personal injury to six people. However, following the installation of the fixed speed camera, the level of incidents have fallen significantly with no collisions or injuries recorded in 2019.
