A special event will take place tomorrow in Hereford, in memory of Jamal Haider.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend when Jamal’s Kebab Shop opens for one final time tomorrow (Saturday 2nd April).
Herefordshire Council and Balfour Beatty have confirmed that Bridge Street will be closed tomorrow afternoon in honour of Jamal.
A message from the family of Jamal Haider ❤️
“Hello. Dad always used to say that the day he retired from work, he would open up for one day and invite everyone to come to the shop and eat before he closes up.
“In reflection of this, we have decided to open the shop up on Saturday 2nd April 2022, for the people of Hereford. We are going to do this between 4pm and 6pm.
“We know many couldn’t attend the funeral and have been asking for a funeral reception/wake.
“In order to plan and to get an idea of rough numbers, we would be thankful if you could click ‘attending’.”
