Earlier in the week we warned you not to put the jackets away just yet, with colder weather predicted for this coming week. No significant wintry weather is expected, but sleet and snow showers, as well as some frosts can’t be ruled out.

Bryan from Herefordshire Weather Watch has put together a Countryfile style forecast for the week ahead for us.

Monday:

A mostly cloudy day with some sunshine through the broken cloud. Highs of 14c.

Tuesday:

Cloudy day with the odd sunny spell and highs of 12c with a breeze.

Wednesday:

Cool start with plenty of cloud and the chance of a few light showers through the afternoon and evening. Highs of 10c and turning cold through the late evening.

Thursday:

Cold start with the risk of a snow shower or sleet through the morning and some rain later in the day with highs of 7c. There will also be a strong cold breeze.

Friday:

Cold start with a frost for most. A dry and bright day but temperatures struggling at 7c with a decent breeze making the temperature feel extra cold.

Next weekend at the moment looks nice and bright but cold with highs around 9c.
