Six full time jobs are set to be created, with a new restaurant / takeaway set to open in Hereford.
Planning permission has been granted for a new restaurant / takeaway in the former Coral bookies unit on Folly Lane, next to Hereford Sixth Form College and Herefordshire & Ludlow College.
When applying for planning permission, a comment on the design and access statement said:
“The proposed mixed use comprising a restaurant and takeaway facility would provide a useful recreation facility for the area. The new kitchen would be fitted with an efficient filtration system to prevent any cooking smell escaping into the atmosphere. Kitchen would be installed with an efficient filtration system, specification of which are included in the separate professional report covering the noise impact and kitchen extraction system. There is therefore no scope for fumes or smell escaping into the atmosphere.
“The proposal would bring the vacant premises to a viable use creating 6 full time jobs for the local people benefiting the local economy.”
The restaurant / takeaway will operate between 10.00 hrs and midnight Monday to Saturday and between 10:00hrs and 17:00hrs on Sundays / Bank holidays. We’ll have more information on this soon.
