There has been a significant fall in COVID-19 infection rates in those aged over 75 in Herefordshire over recent weeks. Whilst the lockdown will have certainly helped slow the spread, part of this fall is almost certainly likely to be as a result of the vaccine rollout.

The government yesterday announced that all care home residents in England had been offered a COVID-19 vaccine, with over 90% of those aged over 80 receiving the vaccine so far.
