Seven men have appeared in court following an investigation into the abuse of ten girls aged between 12 and 16 that are said to have happened in Redditch, Worcestershire, between 2011 and 2017.
The accused appeared during a series of hearings at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday. All were conditionally bailed to appear at Worcester Crown Court on 1st December.
Numan Mohammed, 22, formerly of The Mayfields, Redditch, is charged with two counts of rape involving girls. He is further accused of six offences of sexual activity with a child, four counts of inciting a child to sexual activity, two counts of sexual activity in the presence of a child, and sexual communication with a minor.
Arslan Tazarab, 24, also of The Mayfields, Redditch, is accused of raping a girl under 16. He is also facing two charges of arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence, six counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child, and two counts of causing/inciting a girl under 16 to engage in sexual activity.
Ethashan Tazarab, 20, of The Mayfields, is accused of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and also engaging in sexual activity with a minor.
Abdul Hussain, 21, of Lodge Road, Redditch, is accused of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and sexual assault of a woman.
Usman Ali, 27, of Other Road, Redditch, is facing six allegations he engaged in sexual activity with a child.
Usmaan Asghar, 21, of Sillins Avenue, Redditch, is accused of sexual assault of a woman together with two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child.
Richard Jonathan Weaver, 28, of Worcester Road, Droitwich, Worcestershire, stands accused of raping a teenage girl.
