After let’s be honest, a fairly drab and dull August with average temperatures, you can be forgiven for turning the heating on during recent nights, however things are about to change, so don’t put your summer clothes away just yet!

Over the next few days, sunshine is expected to break through the clouds across the southern half of the United Kingdom, with some areas possibly reaching highs of 30c.

In Herefordshire, things will really start to warm up from Sunday, with temperatures set to reach around 24c, before rising even further as we head into the new working week. By Tuesday, temperatures in Herefordshire could reach highs of around 27/28c.

The heat looks set to last for the majority of the week ahead, with temperatures only showing signs of dropping slightly as we head into Thursday and Friday.
