Officers investigating the death of Ian Kirwan in Redditch have this morning (Friday 8 April) charged a second youth with his murder.

A 15-year-old male has been charged with murder and remanded in custody, and is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today (Friday 8 April).

The charge relates to an incident on Jinnah Road on Tuesday 8 March that led to the death of 53-year-old Ian Kirwan from Redditch.

A 14-year-old male charged with murder has already appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Monday 14 March.

A further 10 youths were previously arrested in connection with Ian Kirwan’s murder. Three of the youths have been bailed and seven released with no further action.
