Search and Rescue Teams searching for a missing person have recovered a body from a river.
West Mercia Police have been searching for a missing person, alongside other organisations, and a body was discovered in the River Severn in Stourport.
The body was discovered this morning. Formal identification is yet to take place.
A short statement shared by West Mercia Police said:
“Officers have recovered a man’s body from the River Severn in Stourport, Worcestershire this morning (24 December).
“The body was discovered around 10.15am.
“Formal identification is yet to take place.”
