NEWS | Road closure in place with emergency services responding to a collision in Herefordshire this afternoon

Emergency services have confirmed that a road closure is in place this afternoon in Herefordshire following a collision.

The B4221 is closed between Upton Bishop and Gorsley / M50 junction, following a collision. 

West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service are at the scene.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“Please be aware that due to a police incident, there is a road closure in place on B4221 (between Hilltop and Two Park Farm) Herefordshire. 

“This may cause increased traffic in the area. Please find an alternate route. 

“Updates to follow.”

The road is likely to remain closed for the next few hours.

Motorists are advised to use an alternative route.
